Student Teaching

I'm starting my first week of full takeover on Monday. I'm kind of nervous and excited. I'm nervous because the entire academic fate of my students rests in my hands. I'm excited because this is what I want to do with my life. I want to teach and work with students. So, we'll see how it goes. I'm getting a taste of it on Friday because my cooperating teacher will be gone and we'll have a sub. I'm teaching the whole day, but my CT planned everything. I'm kind of worried because we don't think the sub speaks much English. She's from India and we've had her in the school before. Students say they can't understand her. I guess it's a good thing that she's subbing in our room because I'll be there. I can't imagine her in our room without me. Our kids would eat her alive! Anyway, I'm sure I'll be on later to fill everyone in on what happens!
